Final preparations are underway to get ready for the show at the Ysabel Sureth Privatgalerie in Germany....the show is opening May 21.

ArtWars Barbados was sponsored by Absolut Vodka, represented by Mount Gay Rum in Barbados....there were 4 sessions, one or two weeks apart, where the artists were asked to finish a painting in 3 hours, according to theme and colours determined. We started with 10 artists in LimeGrove....I made it to round three, the semi-finals.

The Guelph Studio Tour is on with 39 artists displaying their work…. visit the stained glass artist, Lynn Chidwick, who has her studio on the same floor in the Trafalgar Building as myself. I will be in my studio that weekend, Friday evening Oct 17th 7-9 pm, Saturday Oct. 18th 10am-6pm and Sunday Oct. 19th 11am-5pm. Becky Comber has joined me in my studio and will be showing her large scale photo-based collages alongside my paintings in mixed media and wax resist.
